OTP sharing with Pak operatives: Accused Abhijeet reveals names before NIA, was in touch with 100 agents

More skeletons are likely to tumble out of the closet in the sensitive case of OTP sharing with Pakistani Intelligence Operatives by accused Abhijeet Sanjay Jambure, who was earlier arrested by the Odisha Special Task Force (STF).

A team of officials from the National Investigation Agency (NIA), Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) and IB grilled Abhijeet at STF headquarters in Bhubaneswar.

Abhijeet Sanjay Jambure was arrested by the STF from Pune on June 29. A Graduate in Statistics from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University, Abhijeet was working in WIPRO (a Software company) in Pune.

Abhijeet Sanjay was allegedly in regular touch with some Pakistani intelligence officials. Sources said that the investigation agencies have got a list of names of agents during the interrogation of the accused.

Abhijeet has also revealed before NIA the names of the agents to whom he sent money. He has also admitted to have been in touch with around 100 such agents.

Almost all the agents are spread across bordering districts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab, and Jammu & Kashmir.

Meanwhile, Abhijeet was quizzed by the STF on several aspects including honey trapping, terror links and terror funding on the last day of his remand today. Sources said Mumbai ATS may take Abhijeet on transit remand for further investigation.
