The body of a minor boy, who was missing for the past couple of days, was found packed in a bag near an isolated place near Panda Park at Niladri Vihar area in Bhubaneswar.

The deceased, identified as Daityaraj Nayak, was missing from Monday and his family had filed a missing complaint with Chandrasekharpur police station in this regard.

The family members suspect it to be a murder case and alleged the involvement of a local youth and his associates with whom they had some rivalry.

“There was some dispute with Happy Nayak and his associates with our family. He had also threatened us of dire consequences over some issue,” alleged Yudhistir, deceased Daityaraj’s father.

The deceased’s mother alleged that it was Happy who had brought his son’s mobile phone to their house on the day he went missing.

Meanwhile, the deceased boy’s body has been sent for autopsy while further investigation in connection with the incident is underway, police said.
