In a tragic and mysterious turn of events, the hanging body of a CRPF jawan was recovered near Ghasian village under Larambha police limits in Odisha’s Bolangir district on Sunday.

The deceased, Ganeshram Bhoi, was reportedly missing since Friday, and his body was discovered in a hanging state early this morning, sending shockwaves across the locality. It was a group of villagers who first spotted the body of the CRPF jawan hanging from a tree at an isolated place.

According to police sources, the CRPF jawan had returned to his native village a few days ago on leave. However, his sudden disappearance, followed by the recovery of his lifeless body, has raised many questions regarding the circumstances leading to his death.

The family members suspect something fishy regarding the presence of some footmarks near the body, suggesting murder. The members informed that the deceased jawan had left his mobile phone at home on Friday and was untraceable since then.
