Six unidentified miscreants in guise of customers allegedly looted Rs 20 lakh from a petrol filling station after holding its manager at gunpoint in Padmapur under Sadar police station limits of Keonjhar district in the wee hours of Monday.

The loot was reported at Reliance Petrol Pump located at Putulia at around 4.30 am today.

As per reports, six masked miscreants reached the petrol pump in two motorcycles posing as customers. After filling petrol in their vehicles, the miscreants pointed guns at the employee and the manager before decamping with Rs 20 lakh cash. 

“The miscreants struck at around 4.30 am today. They were armed with guns and other weapons. After filling petrol, they pointed a gun at the employee and entered the counter by breaking open the door. I was asleep in the counter. They broke open the cash box and fled with Rs 20 lakh,” said the manager of the filling station.
