Man beats younger brother to death for neglecting studies in Bhubaneswar

A youth was allegedly thrashed to death by his elder brother at Nuasahi area in Bhubaneswar’s Nayapalli for neglecting his studies, on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Raj Mohan Senapati while the accused Biswa Mohan is said to be an MBA degree holder.

According to sources, Raj Mohan was appearing for various competitive examinations after completing his MBA degree. However, he failed to crack any of the examinations.

Fumed over his younger brother’s failure, Biswa Mohan reprimanded him which led to an altercation between them. In a fit of rage, Biswa Mohan thrashed Raj Mohan causing his death.

Meanwhile, the Commissionerate Police has arrested Biswa Mohan and a case has been registered against him under Section 302 of IPC.
