Man abducts niece from Bhubaneswar hostel, detained  

Close on the heels of back-to-back abductions of two minors in Bhubaneswar, a lady was allegedly kidnapped by three miscreants from a private hostel located at Nayapalli in the State Capital on Friday afternoon.

According to sources, the uncle of the lady along with his two associates allegedly abducted her in a car. However, the kidnapping bid foiled after a PCR van intercepted their vehicle and rescued the lady.

Till the last report came in, police have detained the three accused after the victim lodged a written complaint with the Nayapalli police.
