Love triangle? Girl stabbed multiple times by youth in Khordha, admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar

A girl is battling for her life after she was allegedly stabbed by a youth multiple times near Barunei in Khordha district. The accused has been identified as SK Qutubuddin of Jatni area.

As per reports, the accused youth was in a relationship with the victim who hails from Jajpur district. She was working at a motor company in Khordha district. Sources said a quarrel broke out between the victim and the accused over some issue.

It is also said that the accused suspected the girl of cheating on him with another youth. On Tuesday, the accused visited the place where the girl was working. After engaging her in some talks, the accused first slapped her and stabbed her 10 times with the help of a knife.

Following the incident, locals alerted police who rushed the victim girl to Khordha and later shifted her to AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

Today, the victim’s brother lodged a formal police complaint in connection with the incident.

Based on the complaint, the accused youth has been detained. Only after a detailed investigation, the exact reason behind the brutal attack on the girl can be ascertained.
