Cases of job frauds seem to have gone up over the past couple of years in the country with job aspirants being the soft target of fraudsters. A similar job fraud network, which was reportedly operated by a lover-duo, was busted in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

Probably inspired by Bollywood movie 'Bunty Aur Babli', Manglu Swain and his girlfriend Himadri Behera allegedly duped students of lakhs by assuring them of jobs at good packages.

The accused duo was especially targeting students of coaching centres and job aspirants through Facebook Marketplace in the name of a fake company- RK Solutions.

Himadri and Manglu were reportedly luring students by impersonating themselves as HR manager and head of the organisation, respectively.

The matter came to light after a complaint was filed by some aspirants, whom the duo had allegedly duped of lakhs on the pretext of providing them RI (Revenue Inspector) and peon jobs, with the cyber crime police station of the State Crime Branch.

Based on the complaint, the cops arrested Manglu and Himadri from Lingipur area in Bhubaneswar and seized three bank accounts (suspected to be of some students), IDs and several mobile phones from their possession.
