ICICI Bank loot bid foiled after security alarm goes off; miscreants flee empty hand

The plot was perfect to rob the bank. Three miscreants entered the bank wearing helmets and brandishing guns. However, the miscreants had to abort their operation while trying to lock the bank staff and others in a room. This may appear to be a plot from a Bollywood movie, but such a failed bank robbery bid has now become the talk of the town at Trishulia, Cuttack.

As per reports, three miscreants barged into the ICICI Bank branch at Trishulia Chhak. Even though the miscreants had started the process of locking the staff and others in a room, they had to drop the idea to loot the bank after the security alarm went off.

Sources said that all the three miscreants had entered the bank wearing helmets. While two of them had guns, another miscreant carried a knife. The entire incident has been captured in the CCTV cameras installed at the bank.

According to eyewitnesses, all the three miscreants had come to the bank in a black Pulsar motorcycle without a registration number.

Police have started an investigation into the incident. The entire route by which the miscreants came and escaped is also being verified.
