The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday submitted a chargesheet of 2241 pages in Bhubaneswar Sessions Court pertaining to the honeytrap case involving Archana Nag and her husband Jagabandhu Chand.

The chargesheet was filed against Archana Nag, her husband Jagabandhu Chand, Jagabandhu’s aide Khageswar Patra and Sradhanjali Behera. Statements of 15 witnesses have been recorded in the chargesheet, revealed sources close to ED.

Meanwhile, ED has attached Archana’s house worth Rs 3.40 crore.

Lady blackmailer Archana Nag, the prime accused in the honeytrap case, did not reportedly cooperate with central investigating agency in the probe.

Earlier, Archana had said she was waiting for ED and would fully cooperate in the probe before going on multiple remands. However, she failed to keep her words.

Notably, the matter first came to the fore after film producer Akshay Parija lodged a complaint against Archana Nag and her associate Sradhanjali at Nayapalli police station on October 29 for allegedly blackmailing him and demanding Rs 3 crore.
