GRS found dead in Ganjam, murder suspected

The body of a Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) Sushil Kumar Mohanty was recovered from near a canal road at Kaniaripada under Beguniapada police limits in Ganjam district on Wednesday. The deceased was posted as a GRS at Sanaostapada panchayat.

It is suspected that the GRS has been murdered as his body carries some injury marks. It is also suspected that the incident could have occurred last night.

People are demanding a detailed investigation to ascertain the exact cause of his death. Meanwhile, Beguniapada police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
