Fake Call Centre Busted In Bhubaneswar
Commissionerate Police has intensified probe after a major fake call centre was busted in Bhubaneswar recently. All the six West Bengal natives, who have been arrested, will be grilled by the cops to extract information regarding other cyber crimes committed by them.
The Court has allowed Commissionerate Police to take the accused on a three-day remand. The six accused were allegedly running the fake call center from a flat on the second floor of Kanchana Apartment in Sundarpada area in Bhubaneswar.
Police officials informed that the accused allegedly sent phishing emails to some citizens of the United States and other countries on the pretext of providing anti-virus software and other products.

The Commissionerate Police has constituted a special team to conduct further investigation in connection with the fraud.
The financial transactions of the accused are also being verified. A team is also likely to conduct further investigation in Kolkata as well.
