Ganja smugglers arrested after dramatic chase
Two individuals have been arrested in a significant bust by the Flying Squad of the Odisha Excise Department on the national highway near Tangi in Cuttack on Tuesday.
Acting on intelligence input, the officials apprehended the suspects believed to be involved in the illegal transportation of ganja (dry cannabis).
The arrest, which unfolded with dramatic intensity reminiscent of a movie sequence, took place when the suspected traffickers abandoned their vehicle in a bid to abscond.

Demonstrating prompt action, the Flying Squad successfully pursued and detained them. Both individuals are now in custody, with further investigation underway by the Excise Department.
