Conman Held In Bhubaneswar, 10 Stolen Vehicles Recovered

Commissionerate Police in Bhubaneswar arrested a man on Tuesday on charges of stealing vehicles on the pretext of engaging them at his office on a contractual basis.

The accused identified by the police as Manas Ranjan Biswal, who owns an office in Nayapalli area of Bhubaneswar, took vehicles from their owners on rent for his office and sold them in other states.

As per the police reports, as many as 10 stolen vehicles were recovered from the possession of Biswal, following which many vehicle owners were seen making a beeline at the police station to get back their vehicles.

The police have taken Biswal on remand for further questioning about his operation and network.
