The cases of abduction of children have become rampant in Bhubaneswar. Making things worse, the neighbours and distant relatives are also found to be involved in many abduction cases in the State.
In another such incident, an 11-year old child from Jagamara area in Bhubaneswar was recently abducted by three abductors including two women.
However, the act of lifting the boy has been recorded on the CCTV camera installed in the nearby area.
As per reports, the abductors took away the child from his home initially by luring him to give ice cream. The child believed the abductors as they were his neighbours and went with them. Subsequently, the abductors took away the helpless child to Odogaon in Nayagarh district.

All the three accused were arrested. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
