Cash, valuables looted from senior railway official's house in high-security zone in Bhubaneswar

Once again challenging the law enforcing agencies, unidentified miscreants looted cash and other valuables from the residence of a senior railway official in Bhubaneswar. The Railway official, Manoranjan Panda, lodged a formal complaint at Maitri Vihar Police Station in connection with the burglary.

As per the complainant, miscreants looted cash, gold ornaments and other costly gifts from his house. The theft occurred when nobody was present at Panda’s residence.

It is suspected that the robbers gained entry into the house by breaking the locks. Following the incident, senior police officials have started investigation into the incident.

The CCTV footage in the locality is also being examined for clues regarding the miscreants. As the residence of the senior railway official is located in a high-security zone, the burglary has raised several questions.
