Body Of Man Found Tied To Roadside Tree In Bhubaneswar

The body of a man was found tied to a tree alongside a road near Nalco Chowk in Bhubaneswar on Friday morning. 

As per preliminary reports, some locals spotted the man sitting still under a tree today morning and contacted the police. A piece of cloth around his neck was tied to the tree.   

The police reached the spot and recovered the body. The body was later sent to the Capital Hospital for post-mortem. 

While the identity of the deceased could not be ascertained yet, some locals said he lived in the locality. 

It is still unclear whether it was a murder or suicide.
