Bihar Shocker: Man killed by in-laws for not allowing wife to make ‘Instagram Reels’

A shocking incident unfolded in Bihar’s Begusaraia area, where a man was allegedly murdered by his in-laws for not allowing his wife to do Reels for Instagram.

The deceased has been identified as Maheshwar Kumar Rai, and his accused wife is Rani Kumari. 
According to NDTV reports, the two tied the nuptial knot six years ago. The couple has a five-year-old son. 

Maheshwar was upset over his wife’s (Rani) 'reels' obsession. The couple frequently had fights over this matter.  After frequent objections from Maheshwar, Rani did not listen to him. This led to a serious altercation between the couple. 

Later, Maheswar went to his in-laws' house to inform them about the incident. However, he did not return to his home. 

Maheswar’s family members tried to contact him several times, but they were unable to receive any answer from him. 

Suspecting something fishy, Maheswar’s family members went to their in-laws’ house, and to their horror, they found Maheswar's body hanging. 

Maheswar’s in-laws went missing after the incident. 

Maheswar’s father lodged an FIR in the police station. The police have initiated an investigation into the matter to nab the culprits who are still at large.
