17-year-old missing boy body found in Deogarh forest; murder suspected

Police on Wednesday recovered the body of a 17-year-old boy, who was reportedly missing for the past three days in Deogarh. The body of the deceased teenager, identified as Amit Munda, was recovered in a forest.

As his body was located concealed with dry leaves, it has triggered suspicion regarding some foul play.

Amit’s father, Vijay Munda, lodged a missing person complaint with the Koundheigola police station just a day before the recovery of his son’s body.

Authorities suspect the possibility of murder, given the way Amit’s body was hidden inside the forest.
