Dhenkanal: A man, convicted for murdering his elder brother 12 years ago, allegedly killed his sister-in-law and injured three other family members in Dhenkanal district, police said here on Saturday.
Pramod Pradhan (60) had allegedly attacked with sharp weapon his elder brother Sambhu Pradhan, sister-in-law Sabi Pradhan, niece and newphew with a sharp weapon while they were asleep at Lochapali on Friday night.
Sabi died on the spot, while three others were being treated at the district headquarters hospital with serious injury, police said.
Pramod was arrested.
Pramod, youngest of four brothers, was convicted about 12 years ago for killing his elder brother and staying in the village after his release a year ago.
