Aadhaar holders, who have been holding the identity card for over 10 years need to revalidate the same.

The revalidation of the Aadhaar card would require documents regarding proof of identity and address.

To complete the process for free the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has set the deadline on September 14, 2024. If the update is done after the deadline, the user will be required to pay a fee of Rs 50. 

How to Update/Revalidate Aadhaar

Step 1: Visit the myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in page to log in 

Step 2: Provide your Aadhaar number 

Step 3: Enter OTP sent to your registered mobile number

Step 4: To verify that the displayed details are correct click on ‘I verify that the above details are correct.’

Step 5: Use the dropdown menu to select identity and address documents to be submitted 

Step 6: Upload afore-selected documents (Ensure files are less than 2 MB and the file format is JPEG, PNG, or PDF)

Step 6: In the last step, check the details and application gain and click 'Submit'
