In a good news for Mercedes Benz fan boys and particularly classic and vintage car lovers, the dates of the 10th Mercedes Benz Classic Car Rally (MBCCR) have been finalised.
As per an Autocar India reports, the classic car rally will be held on December 2 and 3 in Mumbai.
On display will be nothing less than the grandest, most significant and most interesting Mercedes classics ever to go in India. From cars belonging to kings and presidents to cars bought for next to nothing and restored from scratch, and to entire showroom line-ups as they were back in the day, this event will be momentous.
This year’s edition will feature 75 Mercedes cars with at least 72 different classic models.
The MBCCR was first organised by Autocar India in 2014, and the 2022 edition was studded with some singular cars such as collector Viveck Goenka’s S-Class collection, Pratapsingh Gaekwad’s 230 SL Pagoda and Gautam Singhania’s 300S Adenauer cabriolet. Also on display was the entire range of W123, W124, and W126 in all body styles — from coupes, cabriolets and limousines to estates, SWB and LWB sedans. In all, over 70 cars in 65 variants participated in the MBCCR 2022.
The cars gathered at Taj Land's End (Bandra) and drove to the south end of Worli Sea Face and back via the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.
