Kolkata: In the wake of killing of six civilians allegedly by armed CPI(M) cadres, Congress on Friday demanded the resignation of West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee alleging the administration had totally spun out of his control.

"Jungle raj is prevailing in the state now. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee has totally lost control over the administration. He has no right to be in power for a single moment and should step down immediately," WBPCC president Manas Bhunia told reporters on the killings at Laqlgarh during the day.
