Rourkela: Blackmailing in steel city has come of age, as a gang of girls hitchhiking bike riders and allegedly tricking them into parting with their valuables were nabbed by the city police here.
The four-member gang which included two girls were asking for lift on the roads to the guys with deep pockets and asking them to take them to their homes.
And once they reached there, the girl would be joined by two other guys posing as media persons with handy cam in hand along with a police constable. Then they would blackmail him for his intimacy with the girl and loot him.
However, in this connection police have arrested four accused including a police constable and a girl and seized the booty. Still two more suspects are at large.
