Berhampur: In a horrific incident, miscreants on Friday opened fire at Saroj Panda, BJD leader in Hinjilikatu of Ganjam district.
While the miscreants fled the spot, Panda, sustaining severe bullet injuries, was rushed to the nearby Hinjilikatu hospital and later was shifted to the MKCG Medical College and Hospital here.
According to Panda’s family members, it’s the handiwork of the some anti-socials who are jealous of his political rise and prosperity.
