Ayodhya Ram Temple Inauguration: Celebrities share their experience on grand event

Pran Prathistha ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya temple was a star studded event. From industrialists, sports persons to celebrities and politicians to common man, everyone marked the historic day by either making it to Ayodhya or by praying to Lord Ram in whatever means was possible at their hands.

In the run up to the historic event in Ayodhya, Bollywood singers Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan and Anuradha Paudwal stole the show with soulful Ram Bhajans on the occasion today.

A lot of Bollywood celebrities- Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit Nene, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Ayushmann Khurrana, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and filmmakers Rajkumar Hirani, Rohit Shetty among others were present on the grand occasion today.

Everyone expressed their views and emotions on the special day.

Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) chairperson and lyricist Prasoon Joshi said, "We can surrender ourselves to him (Lord Ram) and consider ourselves lucky. Lord Ram's ideals are very much needed in today's era. In the time that the world is facing right now, Lord Ram's ideals can help a lot..."

This is a God-given opportunity, we are really happy to be here,” said Actor Chiranjeevi.

Bageshwar Dham's Dhirendra Shastri said, "This is a proud day for India...This is the beginning of 'Ram Rajya'. My heart is full...We too are very happy...”

Veteran cricketer Anil Kumble said, "It is a wonderful occasion, a very divine occasion. Blessed to be a part of this. It's very historic. Looking forward to seeking blessings from Ram Lalla..."

"Historic! Wonderful! I had never seen such an atmosphere for Hindu religion ever before. This is bigger than Diwali. This is the real Diwali...Maryada Purushottam Ram symbolised goodness and a sense of sacrifice. Today, those sentiments can be seen here,”said Actor Anupam Kher.
