New Delhi: Congress today dismissed as "evergreen mirage of Indian politics" the formation of a Fourth Front as such a talk gained ground with several non-Congress Chief Ministers making a common cause on the issue of NCTC. "If you are referring to the Fourth Front, which is a subject of quite a few analysis, I want to respectfully say that it is an evergreen mirage of Indian politics"", party spokesman Manish Tewari told reporters.

"If someone wants to continue to chase the mirage, it is their problem", he added. Tewari`s response came to questions on non-Congress Chief Ministers, including Jayalalitha and Naveen Patnaik, coming together on the issue of opposition to NCTC and also holding discussions with their Gujarat counterpart Narendra Modi to decide a common strategy.
