New Delhi: The Supreme Court Monday said exiled BCCI president N. Srinivasan should have refrained from functioning as the cricket board chief after the apex court had declared that he was in a conflict of interest situation.

Referring to its Jan 2 verdict holding that Srinivasan, being head of BCCI and the owner of the Chennai Super Kings, was in a conflict of interest situation, the apex court bench headed by Justice T.S. Thakur said: "Having said that it makes him very vulnerable... we are not very happy about it."
