Chennai: A top official of Koodankulam Nuclear Power Project (KNPP) on Thursday said none of the equipments imported from Russia for use in the Indo-Russian Joint Venture Koodankulam nuclear power plant is faulty or damaged, as reported in the media.

"Any report on equipment imported from Russia being faulty is absolutely wrong. Indian engineers have been monitoring their shift from Russia to the plant. So nowhere was any fault detected," M Kasinath Balaji, Director, Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant told PTI from Koodankulam.
