Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The year 2018 has been really promising for the candidates desperately waiting to get a government job, as the Northern Railways and the West Central Railways have invited applications for recruitment against Cultural Quota Level 2 and for various vacancies under Group C and Group D posts.
Details including eligibility criteria, qualification required and number of vacancies of each of the recruitment board is given below.
WEST CENTRAL RAILWAY
West Central Railway has invited applications for the posts of Group C and Group D. Eligible candidates should apply to the post in the prescribed format on or before January 22, 2018.
Educational Qualification
For Group C posts: A candidate should have passed Class 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board. However, 50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen or where the candidates possess higher qualification i.e. Graduation/Post Graduation etc from a Recognized University.
For Group D posts: A candidate should have passed 10th and possess National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT OR should have passed 10th with ITI certificate.

How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format online on the official website www.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in on or before January 22, 2018.
Application Fee: Applicants should pay an application fee of Rs 500 for applying to the Group C and D posts.
