Bhubaneswar: With a view to clearing additional rush of passengers and also provide comfortable journey to the commuters during Summer Season, 2018, Ministry of Railways have decided to run 11 pairs of weekly & bi-weekly Summer Special Trains towards different destinations of the country from East Coast Railway (ECoR) jurisdiction by creating a number of additional berths.

SECUNDERABAD-GUWAHATI SPECIAL TRAIN:
07149 Secunderabad-Guwahati Weekly Special Train will leave Secunderabad at 7.30 am on every Friday between April 6 to June, 2018 and will reach at Guwahati at 8.45 am on every Sunday. In the return direction, 07150 Guwahati-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will leave Guwahati at 5.25 am on every Monday between April 2 to July 2, 2018 and will arrive at Secunderabad at 9.15 on every Wednesday.

SAMBALPUR-BANASWADI (BANGALORE) SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
Train number 08301 Sambalpur-Banaswadi (Bangalore) Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Sambalpur at 9.30 am on every Wednesday and will reach Banaswadi at 4.40pm on the next days between April 4 to June 27, 2018. In the return direction, 08302 Banaswadi-Sambalpur Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Banaswadi at 12.30 am on every Friday (just after midnight of Thursday) and will arrive at Sambalpur at 6.35 am on the following days between 6th April to 29th June 2018.
PURI-SANTRAGACHHI (HOWRAH) SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
Train Number 08403 Puri-Santragachhi (Howrah) Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Puri at 9.25 am on every Friday and will reach Santragachhi at 6.45 am on the next days between April 6 to June 29, 2018. In the return direction, 08404 Santragachhi-Puri Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Santragachhi at 7.10 pm on every Saturday and will arrive at Puri at 4 am on the following days between April 7 to June 30, 2018.

VISAKHAPATNAM-KIRANDUL VIA KORAPUT SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
Train number 08512 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul daily Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 10.15 pm and will reach Kirandul at 10.00 am on the next days between March 31 to June 30, 2018. In the return direction, 08511 Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Special Fare Train will leave Kirandul at 3 pm and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 3 am on the next days between March 31 to July 1, 2018.
HABIBGANJ (BHOPAL)-PURI SPECIAL TRAIN:
01661 Habibganj-Puri Weekly Special Train will leave Habibganj at 7.20 am on every Tuesday and will reach Puri at 8.45 am on the next days between April 3 to June 26, 2018. In the return direction, 01662 Puri-Habibganj Weekly Special Train will leave Puri at 11.15 am on every Wednesday and will arrive at Habibganj at 11.20 am on the following days between April 4 to June 27, 2018.

SANTRAGACHHI-PURI SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
02809 Santragachhi (Howrah)-Puri Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Santragachhi at 7 pm on every Thursday between April 5 to June 28, 2018 and will reach Puri at 3.20 am on the next day. In the return direction, 02810 Puri-Santragachhi Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Puri at 1.30 pm on every Friday between April 6 to June 29, 2018 and will arrive at Santragachhi at 10.15 pm on the same day.
VISAKHAPATNAM-SECUNDERABAD SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08501 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 11 pm on every Tuesday and will reach Secunderabad at 12 pm on the following days between April 3 and June 26, 2018. In the return direction, 08502 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Secunderabad at 4.30 pm on every Wednesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 4.50 am on the following days between April 4 and June 27, 2018.
VISAKHAPATNAM-TIRUPATI SPECIAL FARE TRAIN:
08573 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 10.55 pm on every Monday and will reach Tirupati at 1.25 pm on the following days between April 2 to June 25, 2018. In the return direction, 08574 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Weekly Special Fare Train will leave Tirupati at 3.30 pm on every Tuesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 6.50 am on the following days between April 3 and June 26, 2018.
KACHEGUDA-VISAKHAPATNAM-TIRUPATI SPECIAL TRAIN:
07016 Kacheguda-Visakhapatnam Special Train will leave Kacheguda at 6.45 pm on every Tuesday and will reach Visakhapatnam at 7.50 am on the following days between April 3 to June 26, 2018. In the return direction, 07479 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 7.05 pm on every Wednesday and will arrive at Tirupati at 9.25 am on the following days between April 4 to June 27, 2018.
TIRUPATI-VISAKHAPATNAM AC SPECIAL TRAIN:
07487 Tirupati-Visakhapatnam Weekly AC Special Train will leave Tirupati at 10.30 pm on every Sunday and will reach Visakhapatnam at 10.45 am on the following days between April 1 to June 24, 2018. In the return direction, 07488 Visakhapatnam-Tirupati Weekly AC Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 7.20 pm on every Monday and will arrive at Tirupati at 08.10 am on the following days between April 2 and June 25, 2018.
YESVANTPUR-VISAKHAPATNAM TATKAL SPECIAL TRAIN:
06579 Yesvantpur-Visakhapatnam Weekly Tatkal Special Train will leave Yesvantpur at 6.35 pm on every Friday and will reach Visakhapatnam at 2.35 pm on the following days between April 6 to May 25, 2018. In the return direction, 06580 Visakhapatnam-Yesvantpur Weekly Tatkal Special Train will leave Visakhapatnam at 1.45 pm on every Sunday and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 9.05 am on the following days between April 1 and May 27, 2018.
Apart from this, a number of Special Trains have been planned to ply between different destinations of the country through East Coast Railway jurisdiction during Summer according to the feasibility and demand from the passengers. These apart, important regular trains have been planned to be augmented with additional coaches during the period by creating additional berths. Based on an analysis of the Passenger Traffic Profile on various routes, permanent augmentation of coaches in Mail/Express trains is being done by attaching more coaches.
