Chennai: DMK MLA J Anbazhagan was on Saturday arrested on land grabbing charges.
Anbazhagan, representing Chepauk constituency in the city, was arrested by a Tirupur police team from his house here, police said.
DMK`s South Chennai District Secretary, Anbazhagan is the latest party leader to be arrested on land grabbing charges.
Senior leaders and former ministers Veerapandi Arumugam and K N Nehru and several close aides of Union Minister M K Alaigiri are among the DMK men booked by police after complaints of land grabbing were filed against them.
