New Delhi: The CBI is likely to meet retired Lt Gen Tejinder Singh later this week in connection with Army Chief Gen V K Singh`s complaint that he allegedly offered him a bribe of Rs 14 crore. CBI sources said the meeting could take place later this week but refused to give exact date.

The CBI may also go through the call records of the retired Lt Gen to find out whether he was in touch with Vectra Chief Ravinder Rishi or his associates before or after meeting the army chief. The Army Chief in his recent meeting with CBI had assured them that he would provide some "clinching" evidence to buttress his complaint that Singh had allegedly offered him a bribe of Rs 14 crore to clear supply of a tranche of all-terrain vehicles.
