"What is the development on the complaint? You filed your progress report on Monday (April 25). The Police Commissioner will have to submit a status report," a bench of justices B Sudershan Reddy and S S Nijjar said.
The bench had on April 8 asked the Delhi Police Commissioner to probe on the professor`s complaint that he had been threatened by the Enforcement Directorate chief for writing to the PMO, accusing him of wrongdoing in connection with the black money case.
The bench was told that Prof S K Dubey had lodged a complaint with the the Delhi Police that he had been threatened by ED chief Arun Mathur for writing a letter to the Prime Minister, detailing an alleged incident of corruption against Mathur and his two officials.
Ordering the city Police Commissioner to probe the allegation, the bench had asked him to submit his action taken report to the court.
Dubey is one of the petitioners along with former super cop Julius Riberio seeking investigation into the issue of blackmoney deposited in banks abroad.
The ED has denied the allegations made in the two affidavits by another petitioner Jasveer Singh against Mathur and his two associates Prabha Kant and S K Sawhney.
Dubey, who was asked to file an affidavit, has complied with the court order.
