Culling operations are not technically over until disinfection process is over in all villages identified, he said, adding disinfection in households will start today and may take two to three days. While the authorities in the district have completely subjected 6340 domesticated birds to hygienic culling till Wednesday evening, 8307 eggs and 850 kg of feed were also destroyed.
A total of Rs 7,56,231 will be paid to the affected farmers and birds` owners from 35 villages within 10 kms from the epi-centre whose livestock were subjected to culling operation by the authorities, the official said.
