Here are three easy home remedies to cleanse your hair deeply while nourishing them.

Step 1: Use clarifying shampoo once month

You should use high quality clarifying shampoos to get rid of any scalp buildup and residue. Clarifying shampoos are high on chemicals as they are meant to remove the oils, buildup, grease and dirt from our hair and scalp. Leaving them deeply clean, these shampoos might also weaken your hair roots or make them dry. Hence, it is advised to use it once a month.

Step 2: Use apple cider vinegar (acv) to rinse the scalp, twice a month

2 tbsp of ACV + 16 tbsp of water

Rinse your hair with this solution after shampooing and conditioning. Leave for 15 minutes and then massage gently while rinsing it with water.

Various studies have found that apple cider vinegar has potent  antioxidants and anti-microbial effects that protect our scalp and hair from oxidative stress. Head lice, dandruff and buildup can both be effectively treated with vinegar's acetic acid. But don't forget to dilute the acetic acid as overapplying it may result in dryness, hairfall and irritation.

Step 3: Apply coffee mask once a month

1 cup Curd + 2 tbsp honey + 4 tbsp coffee + 2 olive/onion oil (Mix well)

Apply onto scalp and strands, massage gently for 12 minutes and then let rest for about 40-60 minutes. Wash it off with a mild, sulphate-free shampoo. It will strengthen

The mask will unlock the deeply rooted buildup and cleans the scalp by exfoliating it. The coffee will colour your grey hairs whereas curd and oil locks in the moisture and nourishes the length. Above all, the hair mask controls hair fall, promotes hair growth ( by stimulating hair roots and follicles) and makes them shine.
