You should use high quality clarifying shampoos to get rid of any scalp buildup and residue. Clarifying shampoos are high on chemicals as they are meant to remove the oils, buildup, grease and dirt from our hair and scalp. Leaving them deeply clean, these shampoos might also weaken your hair roots or make them dry. Hence, it is advised to use it once a month.

2 tbsp of ACV + 16 tbsp of water
Rinse your hair with this solution after shampooing and conditioning. Leave for 15 minutes and then massage gently while rinsing it with water.
Various studies have found that apple cider vinegar has potent antioxidants and anti-microbial effects that protect our scalp and hair from oxidative stress. Head lice, dandruff and buildup can both be effectively treated with vinegar's acetic acid. But don't forget to dilute the acetic acid as overapplying it may result in dryness, hairfall and irritation.
