In a bid to provide adequate health service to the people of the state, Odisha Governor gave nod to the creation of 2000 posts of LTRMO (Leave Training Reserve Medical Officer) in the rank of Group- A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS) cadre.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Odisha on Saturday.
Shalini Pandit, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary to Government on Saturday wrote a letter in this regard to the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
The letter read, “Sir, I am directed to convey the sanction of Governor for creation of 2000 posts of LTRMO in the rank of Group-A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Medical and Health Services (OMHS) Cadre in the scale of pay of level-12 of Pay Matrix of ORSP Rules, 2017 for the peripheral Health Institutions of the State as per the list given below to provide adequate health service to the people of the state.”
A total of 1500 LTRMOs will be appointed in 30 District Headquarters Hospitals (DHH). Each DHH will have 50 LTRMOs each. Among the DHHs are Sundargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Rayagada, Puri, Nuapada, Nayagarh, Nabarangpur, Mayurbhanj, Malkangiri, Koraput, Khordha, Keonjhar, Kendrapara, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Jharsuguda, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Ganjam, Gajapati, Angul, Bolangir, Balasore, Bargarh, Bhadrak, Boudh, Cuttack, Dhenkanal and Deogarh.
Similarly, another 20 LTRMOs will be appointed for Rourkela Government Hospital (RGH) while another 15 each will be appointed in 32 Sub-Divisional Hospitals across the state.
The 32 SDHs are Bonai, Birmaharajpur, Rairakhol, Kuchinda, Gunpur, Khariar, Umerkote, Mathili, Chitrakonda, Udala, Rairangpur, Karanjia, Pattamundai, Champua, Anandapur, Balliguda, Bhanjanagar, Aska, Kamakhyanagar, Hindol, Banki, Athagarh, Padampur, Titlagarh, Patnagarh, Nilgiri, Talcher, Pallahara and Athamallik.
