India Post Recruitment 2020: The India Post, Rajasthan Postal Circle has released a recruitment notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) in various divisions.

India Post Office Recruitment 2019 Vacancy Details

As many as 3262 posts have been announced for Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevaks in various divisions of India Post’s Rajasthan Circle.

Educational Qualification

• The candidate must have Class 10th certificate with passing marks in Mathematics, local language and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories. The Candidate passed 10th class examination in first attempt will be treated as meritorious against those passed compartmentally.
• Compulsory knowledge of local language: The candidate should have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard [as compulsory or elective subjects].
• Basic Computer Training: The candidate must have a Basic Computer Training Course Certificate of at least 60 days duration from any Computer Training Institute run by Central Government/State Government /Universities / Boards / Private Institutions Organizations.

Age Limit

The minimum and maximum of age for the purpose of engagement to Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS) posts shall be between 18 and 40 years respectively as on 22.06.2020, the date of notification of the vacancies.

How To Apply

Only online application will be accepted from the candidate. Candidate who desires to apply online will have to register himself / herself in the portal through https://indiapost.gov.in or https://appost.in/gdsonline with effect from 22.06.2020 to 21.07.2020.

For OC/ OBC/ EWS Male/ Trans-man: Rs 100

For Female/PWD/Trans-woman: Nil
