DRDO Recruitment 2020: The Defence Scientific Information & Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) under the aegis of Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for the post of apprentice for one year training for the financial year 2020-21.
Eligible candidates can visit the official site of DRDO- drdo.gov.in to apply for the post. The last date to apply for the post is 15 days from the date of advertisement in employment news.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic, candidates are required to send scanned copies of their applications along with desired documents/certificates in PDF format through e-mail only. The application format is available on DRDO website, said the official notification of DESIDOC.

Educational Qualification
Library and Information Science: Degree/Diploma in Library Science from a recognised university.
Computer Science: Degree in Computer Science (BE/BTech only) from recognised university.
Photography: Diploma in Photography from recognised university.
Stipend
Library and Information Science Diploma in Library Science: Rs 8000 for diploma candidates while Rs 9000 for degree candidates.
Computer Science: Rs 9000
Photography: 8000
Selection Process and Criteria:
No interview will be held due to ongoing pandemic. Board constituted by the Director DESIDOC for the purpose will go through the applications and shortlist the candidates (as per the vacancies indicated above) as per selection criteria.
Candidates will be selected strictly on the merit basis (percentage/marks of essential qualification). Only selected candidates will be informed through offer letter.
