Even in Salaar, he chose to cast Shruti Haasan opposite Prabhas . For Dragon, the director was keen to rope in Rashmika Mandanna and the deal was almost done. But now the Pushpa 2 actress has left the project which is why Rukmini Vasanth has been approached.
However, fans of the young actress are not happy with her decision because they believe that it will hamper the progress of their star actress. A buzz says that the actress has signed the deal for Dragon which also includes a clause. According to this clause, Rukmini Vasanth will not be able to sign any other project until the release of Dragon which will release on January 9, 2026.
