Yesterday's episode showed Sunder coming with his friends to Jethalal's house. As Babuji, Jethalal, and Tappu miss Dayaben, Sunder gives them the letter that Daya has sent for them. When Jethalal starts reading the letter, it was shown as if Daya is herself saying what is written in it and thus the producers showed a glimpse of Disha Vakani. It made Jethalal teary-eyed while Tappu became very emotional.

While her presence was only for a few seconds, many believed that Disha had started shooting for the serial. However, the truth is that the makers cleverly used the snippets from an earlier episode shot during Navratri to gel with the current situation in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

There has been a repeated mention of Daya in the last few episodes and with Sunder promising Jethalal that his behna will come back soon, now fans are hoping that Disha Vakani will indeed return to the show.
