Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Nattu Kaka aka Ghanashyam Nayak was on a long hiatus as he underwent throat surgery during the lockdown. Now he is all healthy and fine and ready to return to show awaiting to start the shoot.
During an interview recently he also discussed Dayaben aka Disha Vakani and how much the star cast is missing her on the show.

Ghanashyam Nayak Says We Want Disha To Return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Soon
All the Taarak Mehta serial fans are missing Disha aka Dayaben. Nayak said that even the team is waiting for her to make a comeback. The TV star said, "We have been waiting for her for so many years. But now we are tired of waiting and are expecting her to return soon on the show."
He further made an interesting revelation. Nayak said, "If Disha gives a confirmation whether she is coming back on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah or not then the producers can start looking for another actress to play her part. The entire decision rests on the production team. Disha Vakani is very important for the show but now the entire team is tired of waiting."

Fans of the show would like Disha to once again make a comeback as Dayaben. But if she does not make her decision soon, the makers will be forced to replace her as she has been away from the show for more than 3 years now.
Talking about his return on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah Nayak added, "In the earlier episodes I was shown living in a village. The upcoming episodes will show the track of Nattu kaka's return from the village to Mumbai."

He further added that his experience of working with Asit Kumar Modi until now is good and that he is very happy to return back on sets.
