Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: After Dayaben, Fans To Miss Anjali and Sodhi As well?

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah resumed its fresh episodes post lockdown from 22 July. However, reports indicate that two of its regular actors  Gurucharan Singh aka Sodhi, and Neha Mehta aka Anjali Bhabhi have decided to quit the show. It is a major setback for the serial that completed 12 years on Sony SAB TV on 28 July 2020. More than two years ago, Disha Vakani aka Dayaben took a break as she was pregnant. Fans are already missing the actress who plays the wife of key character Jethalal in the serial.

Similarly, Kavi Kumar Azad aka Hathibhai died almost two years ago. Although the show makers immediately found his replacement it is not easy to replace Dayaben, Anjali, or Sodhi. These are very famous characters of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and fans may or may not accept new actors in their roles. Moreover, even though the makers did find a replacement for Hathibhai, the fans still miss Kavi Kumar a lot.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah To Replace Sodhi?

The latest report says that the makers have already narrowed down on one actor for playing the role of Sodhi. Reportedly, Balwinder Singh Suri who played sidekick to Shah Rukh Khan’s character in Dil Toh Pagal Hai will from now onwards portray the role of Sodhi. However, the show maker Asit Kumarr Modi or the actor Suri is yet to confirm this news.

Apart from Gurucharan Singh, actress Neha Mehta who plays the character of Mrs. Anjali Taarak Mehta has also not returned to the shoot post lockdown. Reportedly, the actress has already told the production house that she is do not want to shoot fresh episodes. These two actors are very important for Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Hence the makers might come out with some settlements to have Gurucharan and Neha back on board.
