SSMB29: SS Rajamouli presents Prithviraj Sukumaran as GlobeTrotter's sinister antagonist Kumbha

Ending months of suspense, master storyteller SS Rajamouli has unveiled the first look of Prithviraj Sukumaran as the fearsome villain Kumbha in his much-anticipated film GlobeTrotter (working title: SSMB29). The upcoming global adventure, headlined by Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, is produced by SS Karthikeya and promises a cinematic spectacle on par with RRR and Baahubali.

Rajamouli Hails Prithviraj’s Transformation

Taking to social media, Rajamouli presented Prithviraj as the “sinister, ruthless, powerful antagonist Kumbha.” The filmmaker’s heartfelt note read, "After canning the first shot with Prithvi, I walked up to him and said you are one of the finest actors I’ve ever known. Bringing life to this sinister, ruthless, powerful antagonist KUMBHA was creatively very satisfying." (sic)

He added playfully, "Thank you Prithvi for slipping into his chair… literally…" (sic)

The revelation came alongside a haunting first-look poster, where Prithviraj appears in an automated wheelchair, exuding both mystery and menace.

Mahesh Babu teased an epic face-off, writing, "Stood on the other side… time to meet you head-on KUMBHA… @PrithviOfficial" (sic)

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra added her signature charm and wrote, "We take off with this one…Meet KUMBHA!!" (sic)
