The world of Indian cinema is on edge- Globetrotter (SSMB29), SS Rajamouli’s grand international adventure starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, is finally on the horizon. After months of mystery, hints, and fan theories, all signs point to something big dropping on Sunday (Novbmber 2)- perhaps the first official look at the much-awaited film.

But before Rajamouli could make the grand reveal, his ever-witty cast decided to steal the show- turning what could’ve been a quiet tease into a full-blown comedy thread on X (formerly Twitter).

Mahesh Babu Starts the Fire

It all began with a simple, cheeky post from Mahesh Babu, “It’s November already @ssrajamouli.” (sic)

Rajamouli, never one to back down from banter, shot back in Telugu, “yess… ye cinemaalaki review iddaam anukuntunnaavu ee month?” (Yes… you’re expecting a review for this film this month?) (sic)

Mahesh wasn’t done poking fun.

“Your ‘forever in making’ Mahabharatha, Sir... First things first, You promised us something in November. Please keep up your word,” wrote Mahesh. (sic)

Rajamouli replied with calm confidence, “It has just started, Mahesh. We’ll slowly reveal one by one.” (sic)

Cue another classic Mahesh dig, “How slow sir…? Shall we start in 2030?” (sic)

Priyanka Chopra Joins the Party

Just as fans were already in stitches, Mahesh tagged Priyanka Chopra, teasing, “Fyi, our Desi girl has been posting every street of Hyderabad on her Insta stories since January @priyankachopra.” (sic)

Priyanka, ever the queen of comebacks, quoted his Pokiri dialogue, “Helloooo!! hero!!! You want me to leak all the stories you share with me on set? Mind lo fix aithe blind ga esestha.. ”(Once I decide, I’ll do it blindly!) (sic)

Fans instantly lost it. But the chaos had just begun.

Rajamouli’s ‘Mock Rage’ Moment

Rajamouli jumped back in, pretending to be furious, “Why did you reveal PC @urstrulyMahesh … You ruined the surprise.” (sic)

Mahesh innocently feigned shock, “Surprise aaa? You mean to say, @PrithviOfficial is also a surprise?” (sic)

Right on cue, Prithviraj Sukumaran entered the chat and penned, “Sir @ssrajamouli, I’m running out of alibis for these Hyderabad ‘vacations.’ If I keep this up any longer, my family will start doubting me.” (sic)

Rajamouli finally threw his hands up, figuratively, of course, “@urstrulyMahesh … now you ruined everything.” (sic)

Mahesh, clearly enjoying the meltdown, concluded, “Let’s call it a truce. Put out something tomorrow, which everyone already knows. You can still call it a surprise.” (sic)

Prithviraj’s Villain Moment?

Rajamouli agreed, but not without his signature twist. He wrote, “Okay, deal. But penalty for excess sarcasm. I’ve decided to delay the release of your first look.” (sic)

Prithviraj cheekily replied, “I know sir! You love your villains the most!” (sic)

And Priyanka sealed it with a laugh, “Hahaha. Better luck next time @urstrulyMahesh… Burnnnn!” (sic)

Mahesh had the last word, “It’s okay, @ssrajamouli always saves the best for last.” (sic)

Fans Go Wild, Speculations Soar

The playful exchange instantly went viral, with fans calling it “the most entertaining film announcement ever.” Memes, fan edits, and theories flooded timelines- most convinced that the “something big” arriving tomorrow will be Globetrotter’s first look, featuring Prithviraj as the menacing villain.

As per reports, the official reveal is scheduled for November 16, 2025, at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, complete with a grand event and a special live stream on JioHotstar.

Until then, one thing’s for sure- Rajamouli’s “angry” cast just turned Globetrotter’s teaser into a blockbuster moment of its own.
