SSMB29: SS Rajamouli unleashes 'first glimpse' of #GlobeTrotter, 'first reveal' in November

Cinephiles have been eyeing updates on SS Rajamouli's highly anticipated globe-trotting action-adventure SSMB29  (working title). Fans were hopeful for a major update on Mahesh Babu's birthday. However, certain reports claimed that the makers have no such plans, leaving many disheartened. Well, Rajamouli ended all speculations and heightened thrills by dropping the first glimpse.

#GlobeTrotter First Glimpse Unleashed

On Saturday, which marks Mahesh Babu's birthday, SS Rajamouli and the actor shared an identical post unleashing the first glimpse of SSMB29. 

The picture features a close-up of Mahesh's chest. The Guntur Karam actor seems to be wearing a low-cut vest with blood smeared on part of it. Well, what draws everyone's attention is a pendant featuring an idol of Lord Shiva's trishul (Trident) and his ox, Nandi.

Mahesh's caption for the post read, "Thank you for all the love…(red heart emojis). I am eagerly waiting, as you all are, for November 2025 to enjoy the reveal with all of you. #GlobeTrotter." (sic)

Meanwhile, Rajamouli kept the caption simple and wrote, "The First Reveal in November 2025... #GlobeTrotter" (sic)

Well, the announcement has thrilled fans, which is evident from the flooding comments in the comment section.

Prior to unleashing the first glimpse, Rajamouli shared a note admiring the fans and movie lovers.

His note read, "Dear Cinema Lovers in India and around the world, as well as fans of Mahesh Babu. It has been a while since we began shooting, and we appreciate your eagerness to know about the film. However, the story and scope of this film are so vast that I feel mere pictures or press conferences cannot do justice." (sic)

Further, he wrote, "We are currently working on something to showcase the essence, depth and immersive world we are creating. This will be unveiled in November 2025, and we are trying to make it a NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN reveal. Thank you all for your patience." (sic)

While no further updates were revealed by the team, fans certainly can't wait for the first reveal.

Notably, apart from Mahesh Babu, Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen in a key role. After a break, the team is likely to commence the third schedule soon.
