Sonu met the Telugu girl Sonali when he was studying engineering in Nagpur and they started dating. Sonali was at that time studying for an MBA degree. So it was long before Sonu thought of doing modeling and then venturing into movies that he had found the love of his life. Although the two fell in love at a very young age, there's has been a unique love story that stood the test to time.
Since meeting her Sonali has been the only woman in Sonu's life as their marriage continues to stay strong even after 21 years. The couple now has two sons, Ayaan and Ishant. Both these kids are always away from the limelight similar to their mother. As expected Sonu has high words for his wife.
