Actor Sonu Sood found himself in the middle of a controversy on Thursday after he took to Twitter to share his wishes on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. He appealed to his fans to help someone in need instead of posting Lord Shiva’s picture on the auspicious occasion. However, this irked a section of netizens who started slamming the actor for his ‘double standards.
Sonu Sood took to Twitter early morning today and wrote, "Rather than forwarding Lord Shiva's images, celebrate Maha Shivratri by helping someone in need. Om Namah Shivaay."
शिव भगवान की फोटो फॉरवर्ड करके नहीं किसी की मदद करके महाशिवरात्रि मनाएं।

While some expressed their disappointment while comparing him with Tollywood stars, others called him out for telling them how should they celebrate their festivals which he doesn’t do on other festivals, and soon #WhoTheHellAreUSonuSood started trending on Twitter.
