Shraddha Kapoor to romance Allu Arjun for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s mega film ‘AA23’
Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor, who earlier shared screen space with ‘Baahubali’ star Prabhas in the action thriller Saaho, has officially come on board as the leading lady for ‘AA23’, the much-anticipated project starring Icon Star Allu Arjun and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Leo fame.
The film marks a landmark collaboration, bringing Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj together for the first time, and also pairing Shraddha with the ‘Pushpa star’ for the very first time. However, there has been no official announcement in this regard.
Massive Pan-India Spectacle
The makers unveiled the project recently, just ahead of Makara Sankranthi, setting social media abuzz. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, one of the most influential production houses in Indian cinema today, the film is being positioned as a massive pan-Indian spectacle. Announcing the collaboration, the banner described it as a historic moment, stating, “A Collaboration that will be Eternal in Indian Cinema. Icon Star @alluarjun X @Dir_Lokesh X @MythriOfficial X @anirudhofficial STRIVE FOR GREATNESS.”

Adding further heft to the project, celebrated composer Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to score the music. Known for delivering chart-topping soundtracks and powerful background scores, Anirudh’s inclusion has significantly raised expectations among fans and trade circles alike.
The filming for ‘AA23’ is scheduled to begin later this year. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently occupied with director Atlee’s ambitious sci-fi venture, tentatively titled ‘AA22xA6’, which also stars Deepika Padukone in the lead.
