Samantha Akkineni, Manoj Bajpayee’s The Family Man 2 Release Date Finalised!

Just when the fans thought the wait is over, it wasn’t! The Family Man 2 is one of the most anticipated series of all time and after a long wait, the show was supposed to drop in February but the date was again pushed. Now much to the delight of the fans, it seems like Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni starrer is going to be hitting our small screens soon.

Manoj Bajpayee will return as NIA agent Srikant Tiwari in the much-awaited web show and do you know who is dated against Manoj? Well, the villain is the queen of hearts Samantha Akkineni. South star Samantha joins the action in season two, as an antagonist. Srikant, while struggling to balance his personal and professional lives, will be pitted against a new nemesis, Raji, played by Samantha.

Recently, the makers of the Family Man and directors Raj and DK, confirmed that the show is expected to drop this summer. A confirmed release date will be announced soon.

Earlier, there were certain reports that claimed that as per the latest guidelines issued by the Information and Broadcasting Ministry to regulate OTT content and the controversy around Tandav and Mirzapur 2 the makers decided to cancel the upcoming season. However, Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha Akkineni slammed all the reports, calling them baseless.
